By the end of the 80’s, almost every shredder had their own “superstrat” and many of them were either modded guitars or partscasters. Fender saw this and responded with the HM (heavy metal) Strat. This instrument is loaded with all the features that you need to play loud and fast! HSS configuration, Floyd Rose licensed Kahler bridge and nut, 24 frets on a slim neck, and a really handy contour on both of the horns to help reach the upper register with ease.
This particular HM Strat is in great shape for its age. There are a few small scratches on the body and there is some light wear and patina on the fretwire. The guitar appears to be all original, including the pickups which sound huge!
