Another really hip amp to share today - this time a very well kept 1964 Domino Bass Piggyback Head and 1x12" Cab.  Don't let the "Bass" name fool you, these are terrific little guitar amplifiers and have a Vox-like chime all there own!  Made by Jennings Musical Instruments, these 'entry level' amps were aimed at the student/budget minded market.  Do away with the frills of a traditional Vox and you're left with just one thing - TONE.  These amps sound stellar and capture magic of the AC4/AC6s of the era.  If you're looking for inspiring vintage Vox tones in a lightweight package, welcome to it.      

This particular Domino Bass 4W Head and 1x12" Cabinet is in very good to excellent condition and sounds fantastic.  The head and cabinet show some signs of wear but are in excellent shape overall for a 60 year old amplifier.  This amp has been recently serviced by a well known amp technician in our area and the circuit is nice and quiet. 

The cabinet is loaded with the original Fane 1x12" speaker and its obvious why these things are so coveted.  The speaker is in excellent shape and sounds awesome with this head.  Clean or dirty, the tones from these two are top notch.

The power cable has been upgraded to a three prong plug and the speaker lead has been converted to a more practical 1/4" cable.
