In 1954, after being a company for only about two years, Guild released the M75 Aristocrat. This guitar could possibly have been their answer to the Les Paul and Duo-Jet at the time, although it certainly has a style and voice of its own. With its hollow body, routed mahogany back, and spruce top, the Aristocrat is uniquely smooth and mellow and was known to be favored by the Jazz players at the time.

This particular M75 is in excellent shape for its age minus a few noticeable cosmetic issues. The binding on the heel has fallen off (still in case) and there are some blemishes on the top near the pickup selector switch and on the lower edge of the back. Aside from a few dings and dents, this guitar is in great playing shape and has plenty of fret life left. The electronics all function as they should and the original Franz pickups sound beautiful!
