The Taylor T5z Pro is the tool that gigging guitarists have been waiting for. With its stunning looks and extremely versatile tone shaping options, this instrument is the perfect blend of an acoustic and electric guitar. Sporting a super lightweight Urban Ash body, figured Big Leaf maple top, chamfered edges, integrated armrest, and a very fast “T5 carve” neck with an Ebony fingerboard, this T5z Pro is very comfortable to play!
Sonically speaking, it’s a wildly adaptive guitar thanks to the two humbuckers, body sensor, 5 way selector switch, and active Bass and Treble controls. For those unfamiliar, the pickup combinations are Neck + Sensor, Neck, Bridge, N+B Parallel, N+B Series. With the addition of the active tone controls, the T5z Pro is capable of going from a 40’s hollowbody to a strat neck sound in the flick of a switch!
