One of the more iconic short scale basses in rock n’ roll history, the Gibson EB-0 had plenty of adoring fans including legends Jack Bruce and Rick Danko. The single high output pickup always made for a good thump and the uber comfortable neck is an excellent companion to any SG in the studio.
This particular 1967 EB-0 (s/n: 006131) is in good to very good condition and sounds huge with the flatwound strings that are on the instrument. The body shows normal signs of playwear for an instrument of this age including one notable gash near the low E string.
The frets are in good shape and the neck plays great. The bridge mute functions as it should and the headstock is also in good shape. The original case is in good condition and if you’ve never had a chance to play one of these fine instruments you’re missing out! These guitars are a joy to play for bass and guitar players alike and this one is no different.
This is one of our favorite basses in the shop and we’re sure you’ll love it too!
