British Invasion fans, we've got a good one for you today - a Hofner 500/1 '62 Violin Bass Reissue!  The Hofner 500/1 Violin bass has all the classic thump and vibe you need while maintaining comfort and playability. The hollow-body construction along with a healthy combination of Spruce and Maple, allow for the warm and rounded sound that’s associated with these basses and, of course, Sir Paul.

This particular Hofner 500/1 '62 Violin Vintage Bass Reissue is currently strung up with flatwounds and resonates very nicely.  This instrument is in very good condition.  There is some play wear throughout the body and some light oxidation on the hardware.  The electronics function as they should and the instrument packs a good thump when amplified.  

The frets are in still in great shape and look to have only ever been played with flatwounds.  in addition, the back of the neck is clean and the headstock is in very good condition.  This instrument plays well and is quite comfortable sitting down or standing.
