Since its inception, the humble Precision Bass has been a quiet workhorse that has adorned thousands of hit records.  With its solid growl and classic playability its no wonder the P-Bass continues to be a stable on stages across the world.  

This particular player grade 1961 Precision Bass is in good condition for its age and still sports its original sunburst finish.  This instrument has its share of honest play wear but sounds great and still has plenty life left.  Most everything looks to be original to the guitar with the exception of the gold anodized pickguard.

The frets and the nut also look to be original and still have some height to work with.  The back of the neck has some marks and finish wear but still plays quite well.  The electronics all look to be original and it looks like an additional ground wire has been added.  Notes ring up and down the neck and it feels great in the hands.
